EUFREE envisages concrete activities and results that will be implemented by a multigenerational, multicultural and transnational network of people<\/span>
representatives of various groups interested in collaborating from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, with the fundamental objective of<\/span>
promote empathy, listening, and collaboration to overcome conflicting \u201cnational\u201d interpretations of each other's histories, which have caused deep-rooted prejudices between our cultures.<\/span><\/p>

EUFREE is divided into three main parts: Europe's past, present, and future. Each part centers on an International Event aimed at sharing the results of previous activities and presenting the contents of future activities among partners and the interested public.<\/span><\/p>

Before and after these 3 events, two meetings of the EUFREE partners are planned to share, first, all the preliminary information on project management and, finally, the evaluation and elaboration of the final project results.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Part I<\/span>: <\/strong><\/span>Starting from a comparison of each other's national histories, through the examination of standard school textbooks, participants will deepen their understanding of some of the dramatic consequences of the terrible wars that occurred in this part of Europe during the 20th century. These activities include a study trip entitled \"Europe YESTERDAY\" with the participation of witnesses, experts, and journalists from the five countries involved.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The outcome of these first activities will encourage us to reflect together on the history and values \u200b\u200bof the European Union, from its birth to today, during the activities planned in the Part II<\/strong><\/span> by EUFREE: \u201cEurope TODAY\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Part III<\/strong><\/span>:<\/strong> \u201cEurope TOMORROW\u201d will address the issue of fundamental rights in <\/span>Europe and the participants will create educational tools to share with<\/span>
organizations and institutions at various levels in each of the countries involved. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Conferences and commemorations will be organized during each Event <\/span>to discuss some of the major turning points in the recent history of the<\/span>Europe and all the other priorities of the \u201cEuropean Remembrance\u201d Programme. <\/span>Among other concrete results (common educational materials, videos, theatrical representation), <\/span>a shared document will be produced at the end for the implementation <\/span>of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights: \u201cTHE EUROPE WE WANT\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
